Chief Lopez Announces His Upcoming Retirement
CFD2 Fire Chief Tony Lopez has announced to his board and staff that he will be retiring on April 1, 2021. Chief Lopez has been with the Fire District for 30 years, starting as a firefighter in 1990. He has served as Fire Chief since 2014. The Fire District will conduct an internal promotional process to identify a successor for the Fire Chief position.
CFD2 Operations amid COVID-19
Update 1/13/21: CFD2 Stations and Administrative Office are currently closed to the public. Administrative office staff are available by phone and email during normal office hours and are able to meet with masked members of the public by appointment.
